My time with Erica and Alex at Fells Point went really smoothly despite the scheduling bumps we experienced along the way. They’re both busy career-minded people and we also had the weather to contend with. Once the opportunity came for us to meet up for their portrait session in Fells Point, Baltimore it was a no-brainer to schedule sunrise for their portraits. We beat the rain that was coming that day, we wrapped up their portrait time just before Baltimore started to wake up, and the heat hadn’t made it to our area yet. Their portraits ended up having that sweet summer glow that everyone dreams of, and I was ecstatic to finally have had the chance to spend time with them.
We started our portrait time talking about their wedding planning and what it’s been like for them to plan during a pandemic. Of course, there have been some challenges but nothing they couldn’t handle together. And now that their portrait session is complete, we can officially take a deep breath and begin the countdown to their upcoming waterfront wedding this September!
Erica and Alex chose Fells Point for their engagement portraits because of the close proximity to their home, but also because this spot is within walking distance of a few bars they frequent together with friends. And even though it was just after sunrise when we met for portraits, we ended our time together in front of their favorite locations, staying true to the Baltimore they love so much.
And, to end the portrait session at Fells Point we stopped at a bar that brought Erica back to her alma mater. These spots will also ring true to the Baltimore they love so much.
Congratulations on your engagement, Erica and Alex! I can’t wait for your upcoming wedding this fall. I know it’s going to be a true representation of the style and love in your relationship.
