Having the opportunity to work with Keri and Kevin for their wedding was a huge blessing! As my first couple of the fall season, they were the first couple to hear about our family’s plans to relocate from Southern Maryland to Charlottesville, VA. Our family’s move was planned and executed very quickly and Keri and Kevin trusted me to be there for them through the whole process.
Knowing that they put this much trust in me helped to make our relocation go a lot smoother. And once their wedding day arrived I made sure my bags were packed and I had everything I needed.
Miranda was wrapping up with the ladies’ hair and makeup when I arrived. I loved having the chance to catch up with her, and talk to Keri as she sat in Miranda’s chair. The guys weren’t far behind, in the cabins at Woodlawn. I spent the first few hours of our time together bouncing between the manor and the cabins capturing everyone getting ready.
The air was slightly cooler, the breeze was blowing off of Calvert Creek, and for the first wedding of the fall season, everything was absolutely perfect. After a beautiful outdoor ceremony, Keri and Kevin’s friends and family enjoyed a cocktail hour beside the wine shack. And then everyone danced the night away to 90’s hits while strumming on plastic guitars and banging on air drums.
What a night!!
