McKenna and Alex were married in the fall on a beautiful and breezy day at Woodlawn Estate in Ridge, Maryland. Their wedding was a bit chilly but was perfectly executed and so full of love! McKenna had a special heirloom that was passed down from her grandmother to her mother on her wedding day. And […]

Kate and Rob’s wedding at Walker’s Overlook was absolutely breathtaking. One knew instantly the care and love they put into planning every little detail. The bride’s off-the-shoulder gown and simple silver flats were made complete with her elegant veil. Her groom’s navy suit and rusty brown shoes created a timeless look the complimented their venue. I met Emily and Sidney in a coffeeshop in Annapolis to talk about their wedding plans and dreams. I’ll never forget that day because I got to hear all about Sidney’s daughter and how Emily wanted her to play an important role in their wedding. I loved so much of their wedding day but a few details stood out to me the most. Before Marielle made her way down the aisle, we had the pleasure of watching all 9 setsof  Godparents being escorted into the ceremony location to find their seats. During the ceremony Marielle and Kedrick placed hand written letters in a little wooden box to be opened on the day of their first anniversary. And, just after toasts were made, Marielle and Kedrick took the floor to announce their pregnancy! What a special night it was!!

When we showed up to Olde Breton Inn to begin photographing Mandy’s bridal details we were quickly informed of two new(er) details that we weren’t aware of. Two things that the guests, and even the bridal party weren’t aware of. Two things that I haven’t had a chance to see at a wedding – until their wedding day.
