Bethany and Michael are planning their Frederick, Maryland wedding from California and they’re doing it with so much grace and excitement. Over their Christmas break, while they were here in town visiting family, I met with them at Baker Park for their engagement portrait session. It was such a strange weekend in terms of the weather and every time I look closely at their portraits I just can’t believe what I’m seeing.
We had to reschedule their session due to rain the day before, and we met the morning before they were to fly back home. And when I arrived at Baker Park I was a little astonished at how warm it really was. But the real surprise came as I was walking around the park with Bethany and Michael and noticed that the cherry trees were blooming!
Yes! You read that right! The trees had cherry blossoms on them! In DECEMBER.
While we were together I learned that Stanley (their precious little pupper) will make a cameo at their wedding in February – bow tie and all. Guys – these two are so cuddly and comfortable with each other and Stanley was the most perfect addition to their portrait session that I rarely had to give much direction at all.
I can’t wait for their wedding at McClintock Distillery next month!! It’s going to be a celebration to remember!
Congratulations, Bethany and Michael!!! The countdown to your wedding has officially started!
