Jefferson Patterson Park is SUCH a popular location for family portraits! If you live in the Southern Maryland area, you probably already know why. But if you don’t live here, or if you’ve never ventured out to St. Leonard to visit Jefferson Patterson Park then let me show you what you’re missing!
This place is a popular location for family portraits and weddings. And there are many reasons why. But for starters, it has EVERYTHING you would ever need for portraits! There are barns, white picket fences, beautiful older houses that have been restored, a corn field in the fall, large and open fields, water access (which means kicking off your shoes and digging them into the sand), beautiful Cypress trees that line the main road on the property. I could talk about this location for days!!
So when the Sims family reached out to me for family portraits and they started to tell me what they had in mind, I knew JPP would be the place for them. And I’m so happy with how their portraits turned out!!
This has got to me one of my most favorite spots on the whole property! The trees frame them perfectly, and there’s plenty of space for us to run around and play. Seriously, I can’t think of a more perfect location for families!
Soooooo much fun! I held my breath a little bit before their session hoping the corn wasn’t mowed down yet. Thankfully, it wasn’t. And it gave us a great spot to explore together.
