I met Julie and Kelsey one fall morning around 6:30am for their very first couple’s portrait session. As we waited for the sun to rise a little more they started to tell me the story of how they met. Both of them are active duty military and they met each other while stationed overseas. Then started a long distance relationship that was tested by many months apart, in addition to the many miles between them.
I absolutely adore hearing about how couples ended up finding themselves together. My husband and I also started our relationship as a long-distance dating situation. But we were able to work it out so we could travel mostly every weekend to see each other. My heart swells hearing stories like Julie’s and Kelsey’s because it just proves that when you know – you KNOW. And you’ll do whatever it takes to be together.
These two made it extremely easy on me that morning. It was a bit chilly out that day and when I asked them to cuddle in to get warm, there was no hesitation on their part! Not to mention they’re absolutely adorable together!! And now that I’ve found myself finally able to choose their images for the blog post, I had a very hard time choosing which ones to share.
