Sherri and Tom are a couple I hold very close to my heart. You’re probably wondering why, right?
Well, these two were my very first couple in 2020 whose The Mill at Fine Creek wedding was rescheduled when the closures and mandates started taking effect. At the time, it all came as a shock to us because we were just a week away from celebrating their wedding. Thankfully, their venue, The Mill at Fine Creek, was okay with us visiting to capture a very quick elopement on their actual wedding day in March of 2020. And like many 2021 couples, we celebrated their weddings on a delay, even though they were already married.
Sherri and Tom took the pressure of being forced into rescheduling their entire vendor list and notifying their guests with a massive amount of grace and strength. This was the first time we have ever experienced a pandemic that forced events to be cancelled – so it was all very new to every single one of us. And my main focus was to make sure I remained as flexible as possible for them. They deserved a beautiful wedding.
And a beautiful wedding they had!
