Charlottesville, Virginia + Beyond
Tiffany and Chris both have ties to Washington DC, so it was only natural that we meet there for their engagement portraits. The Washington National Cathedral was the most perfect location for them! Sunrise in DC is absolutely romantic.
Wanting to start their relationship slowly, they went out on a few dates not really expecting to fall in love with each other. And quickly they realized that they found the same goofy things absolutely hilarious. Their sense of humor was similar between the two of them, which I got to personally witness when we met for their engagement session. In between the romantic snuggles and sweet kisses Bryson was busy making faces while Shelly laughed at his crazy antics.
As Kate and I got to know each other a bit better I was so surprised to discover that we have a lot in common, especially when it comes to having a deep desire to want to keep things on schedule and moving properly. So, I couldn’t help but laugh (to the point of tears!) when they told me their engagement story!
Melissa and David met me on a hot summer day at Running Hare Vineyard in Prince Frederick, Maryland. The weather toyed with us for a while, requiring us to reschedule our portraits – so much like a few of my other couples this year. But despite the heat, we had a full night of laughter and jokes. (No seriously, ask David to make a “GQ face”. You’ll get immediate laughter!!)
