For the Love of the Tangible

For Brides

June 20, 2023

I have to admit, our matted display box and framed portraits are two of my favorite items that I create for the studio. Designing these heirloom pieces can be done in-house during your design consultation or even simply over a quick Zoom call.

My goal is to work with you to curate the most beautiful tangible elements possible, that are custom to your needs and your style.

THE PROCESS

Before your wedding day arrives, we’ll talk with you about your options for framing and heirloom products. I strongly believe that your wedding portraits shouldn’t live on the cloud or in a phone camera roll. When you choose to work with me as your Charlottesville Wedding Photographer, you have the convenience of adding these custom-designed heirlooms to your proposal. By choosing a tangible product addition to your proposal you’re deciding, before the wedding day, that having high-quality handmade custom-printed portraits are of utmost importance to you and your family.

Many of our couples choose to add these items to their proposal collections since it alleviates the stress of making choices after the wedding day, it ensures you’re informed of what you’ll be receiving after your design consultation, and it helps to save money purchasing these items prior to the wedding day.

THE BENEFITS

We offer our clients the option of adding tangible, custom products to their wedding collections for several reasons. (And we’re sure that you’ll find yourself agreeing with us!)

  • You can’t beat the convenience of knowing everything has already been taken care of.
  • Your design and product creation is at the top of the line in priority for production schedules.
  • We can plan ahead of your wedding day for portrait preferences based on your product choices.
  • You have the ability to make all of your product choices now, relieving yourself of the stress later.

THE DESIGN

Our goal is to make sure the design process is as seamless and stress-free as possible. I understand how important it is to make sure you have choices built into a white-glove design process, and I’ve learned how to provide exactly that.

During our design consultation, you’ll have the ability to view and touch studio samples. If you choose to meet with me online for your consultation, you’ll receive a thorough guide to supplement our online conversation. We’ll talk about size, framing options, and favorite portraits for printing. And if you decide to place your wedding images in an artisanal album we’ll discuss your options for covering, shape, and number of spreads.

After our consultation, we will finalize your design, arrange layouts, and perfect any retouching that may be requested for large printed portraits.

WHITE GLOVE TOUCHES

Working with clients over the past 13 years has taught me how to create an experience for heirloom design that is convenient yet custom. All of the design choices are entirely up to you; from the choice of portraits to print, album covers, style, size, and framing options. However, we are here to help guide you along and make suggestions based on our experience and expertise.

While each of our clients has varying style choices, the quality of our products stays the same. Our frames are made of sturdy wood and archival-quality glass. Our wedding albums are all handmade and arrive to you in a protective box.

By the time your products are delivered to you, you will be thrilled knowing the ordering process was smooth, and you have a beautiful heirloom to remind you of one of the best days of your marriage so far.
