The breeze that blew throughout Woodlawn on the day of Kayla and Gavin’s wedding was refreshing and gentle. We all woke up that morning completely blessed by the cooler temperatures that came through Southern Maryland, and not a hint of humidity hung in the air. Their wedding was the very start of our fall wedding season beginning, and the weather certainly made us feel like fall was creeping in around the corner.
A sense of anticipation was palpable as the girl’s helped Kayla into her gown just moments before the ceremony was to start. Gavin and his groomsmen all arrived just before the ceremony as well. And shortly after the bridal party was in place the guests began to take their seats. We were all set up and ready to go – and you could hear the guests’s gasp as Kayla was escorted from Woodlawn Estate and down the aisle to meet her groom. It was now time for this beautiful and graceful dancer to marry the love of her life!
After tearful vow exchanges and a celebratory applause from their guests, there were officially married!!
Being present at Kayla and Gavin’s wedding was a true honor for their whole vendor team. We all had a fantastic and certainly memorable time as we smiled so much our cheeks hurt. Gavin was hoisted into the air by his groomsmen and family and guests danced in all corners of the barn. And they excitedly ended the night as they jumped into their escape vehicle after running through a tunnel lit of sparklers and full of cheering from their guests.
It truly was a magical wedding day – from start to finish!
