We woke up this morning with an extra sense of excitement. Holly our Elf wrote our youngest a super sweet note telling her about what it’s like to live at the North Pole. She found a little branch on our Christmas tree to perch on, too. I’m a little sad knowing that she’ll be going back to the North Pole tonight until next year.
The presents are wrapped and under the tree. The diffuser has Christmas Spirit and Orange in it. We’ll be baking cookies for Santa later on tonight when Daddy gets home from work.
And…Santa comes tonight!
So, it’s only natural for us to spend a little bit of extra time in bed this morning under cozy blankets and reading “Twas the Night Before Christmas”.
