I have learned that every portrait session is unique. And because every client has a wishlist for what they envision their photography to be, I like to book a quick 10-15 minute phone call so I can get talk with you about vision. After our initial call I will create your proposal and we'll meet to go over it together.

I've been in business for 12 years and have posed hundreds of couples and families. Because I believe that your portrait time will be more enjoyable when you're relaxed and focused on each other, I do my best to work with couples from a slight distance. I provide direction when I see that it's needed, and the best photographs are produced when the couple trusts me to capture them in their element with their fiancé.
The session fee covers the meeting beforehand as well as the session, and images are purchased after during our final meeting. We’ll also select your products during this time!

It's become a habit of mine to watch the weather forecasts really closely the week leading up to your portrait session. If you're comfortable with rescheduling we will work closely together to make sure we choose a rain-date that fits your schedule. If you would still like to meet for your session, I always carry clear umbrellas with me that I'm more than happy to use!
How do you approach a rainy-day?
YES! We serve all of Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. regularly, and are always up for sessions further than that!

Amanda Adams Photography provides a custom experience. We help you with everything from styling for your portrait session to feeling comfortable in front of the camera.
The session fee is dependent upon your location, as we serve clients all over the DMV area. After this, your images are available in various bundles.
