We ended our summer wedding season with one of the most elegantly rustic weddings we’ve had the honor of photographing. Erika and Mike were wed at the beautiful Springfield Manor Winery & Distillery at the end of August. And even though the month of August often brings to mind sweltering heat and humidity, it wasn’t so on their wedding day. Just a few days before we were scheduled to arrive the humidity blew away on the breeze and gave us one of the most perfectly relaxing summer evenings for a beautiful wedding. Besides, with lavender fields and rows of grapes, and a historic home dating back to the 1700’s, you’re sure to have breathtaking surroundings for your guests and family to enjoy.
They shared a day together that most couples dream of. The sky was filled with just enough clouds to make their portrait time glowing and magical. For August, nothing could have been better! My heart sings every time I take a peek at their wedding images so, writing this blog post has been such an exciting part of my day!
