Samantha and Nick planned their wedding from a distance, living in New Jersey and celebrating in Maryland at the brand new Inn at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. It takes a huge amount of organization, patience, and trust when you’re planning a wedding from such a far distance. Especially when you are forced to face some things you can’t control, and just let-it-go…like the weather. Samantha and I were in contact with each other in the couple of weeks leading up to her wedding date and we both watched the radar closely knowing that rain was quite likely. Thankfully, it didn’t do more than sprinkle a little bit during the day. And it certainly wasn’t more than we could handle. I came prepared for the weather, and Samantha was focused on walking down the aisle toward her best friend.
Photographing Samantha’s and Nick’s bridal details started our day off on the right foot. I had such a wonderful time looking through everything she worked so hard to put together. Samantha works in the custom design field and you could tell she put a ton of time and care into creating her programs and invitation suite. Every little detail from the dates and the script of their love story down to the little characters that actually looked like each member of their bridal party. It was such a treat seeing everything come together for them!
