If you are planning a fall wedding, you must be thrilled you landed on this post today! Ann and Nathan’s Springfield Manor Winery and Distillery wedding had amazing florals in marsala & plum tones with small accents of lavender sprinkled throughout. Every one of their detail choices were elegantly designed and curated with their final photographic results in mind. You see, Ann is also a wedding photographer based out of Hawaii and it was extremely important to her to gather items she knew would photograph well, but that would also celebrate their style and who they are as a couple. So many of this year’s couples embraced the lighter, more pastel tones for their weddings with blush being a very popular choice. Needless to say, when I watched Ann’s makeup artist, Caitlyn apply a burgundy lipstick to Ann’s lips my heart sung with joy. What a beautiful choice for her creamy skin! Springfield Manor Winery and Distillery is a stunning manor nestled comfortably between mountains and surrounded by vineyards and lavender fields. We had just begun to kiss the autumn season and I knew Ann and Nathan’s color choices would pop off of the mountainside background.
Ann and Nathan planned every little detail of their celebration from their home in Hawaii and I’m still amazed at how easily everything fell into place on the day of the wedding. They took great care and detail in choosing each item, from the beautiful invitations down to the delicious steak dinner and custom guest favors. Shortly after the cake was cut their guests gathered on the dance floor and danced the night away celebrating with Ann and Nathan. Their wedding day had a slight chance of being rained out, but Mother Nature decided instead to provide us with the softest, most beautiful filtered light possible. I’m still gasping over their romantic portraits!
I am beyond honored to have had the chance to not only get to work with such a special couple, but also be chosen by another wedding photographer to capture the most important day of their relationship!
